Dr. Ray Turner is a licensed Clinical and Police Psychologist, and is Board Certified in Police and Public Safety Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. He has more than 20 years experience as a Police and Public Safety Psychologist, 15 of which are with a major metropolitan police department.  Dr. Turner earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University, and a Masters Degree in Behavioral Science from Catholic University. He received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. He served for four years as a Staff Psychologist with the Arkansas Department of Correction, and five years as a part-time Psychologist assigned to Northwest Arkansas Community Correctional Center. Dr. Turner served as the Clinical Director of the Whitehaven Southwest Community Mental Health Center in Memphis, Tennessee for four years. He has held investigative positions at the local, state, and federal levels. He is the former Clinical Coordinator of the Crisis Support Team of  Northwest Tennessee and is a POST-approved instructor in Tennessee. Dr. Turner is licensed in Tennessee and Arkansas. He holds memberships in the following organizations: American Board of Professional Psychology; International Association of Chiefs of Police (Associate Member-Police Psychological Services Section); Society for Police and Criminal Psychology; American Psychological Association, Division 18. In his practice of Police and Public Safety Psychology, Dr. Turner specializes in Intervention, Pre-employment Psychological Screenings, and Operational Consultation.
